These snakes are nocturnal and are usually the most active during the middle of the night. They are Semi-arboreal, which means they enjoy spending time exploring the ground and being in the trees. They are also good swimmers, often being found in large bodies of water.

The Colombian Rainbow Boa eats small birds, small lizards, small mammals, and reptiles.
