Rufous-vented Laughingthrush
Recognisable by its striking appearance, the rufous-vented laughingthrush has a black mask across its face, a yellow throat, and a reddish belly. Its calls are a mix of sweet whistles and chattering sounds. Despite the social nature of these birds, they are very secretive, preferring to stay hidden within dense foliage.
Diet
These omnivorous birds primarily feed on insects but also enjoy berries and seeds. They forage mostly on the ground, searching through dense undergrowth for food.
