We are more than just a zoo—we’re a registered charity dedicated to the conservation of rare and endangered species. Our passionate team works tirelessly to protect wildlife, but we couldn’t do it without the incredible support of our volunteers.

If you’re 18 or older and share our love for animals and conservation, we’d love to have you on board! Volunteering at the zoo is a fantastic way to get involved, meet like-minded people, and make a real difference. While there are no hands-on opportunities with the animals, there are plenty of ways to contribute, from assisting our Estates and Gardens team to supporting our Visitor Experience team during events.

CORPORATE ENGAGEMENT DAYS

Looking for a unique way to bring your team together while making a real impact on your local community?

Our Corporate Volunteering Days offer a fantastic opportunity for your business to support our work while enjoying a rewarding and fun-filled team bonding experience in nature. Whether it’s helping with essential projects across the zoo or contributing to a larger conservation initiative, your team will leave feeling accomplished and inspired. Plus, after a productive day, you’ll have time to explore the zoo and even enjoy a ride on our narrow-gauge railway!

Designed for groups of 8 to 15 people (with some flexibility for larger teams), we offer a range of Corporate Support Packages, with the option to include catering at an additional cost.
