
Diet
They have a varied diet of seeds, fruits, nuts, berries and leaf buds. They can feed at all levels of the canopy.

Habitat
They come from the hill forests in the coastal mountain range of Venezuela.
Fun Fact
Conures are often called the clowns of the parrot world due to their constant attention seeking behaviour including hanging upside-down and swaying back and forth or “dancing.”
Lifespan
Their lifespan is between 25 and 30 years.
Emma’s Conure (Pyrrhura emma) are also known as Venezuelan Parakeets.
Behaviour: They can be seen in pairs but also in flocks of up to 15 individuals.
