Home educator Zoo club
Is your child a future zookeeper? The Zoo Club is a five-week program designed for young animal enthusiasts aged 6-12. Children will learn various zookeeper skills, engage in theory-based learning, and gain hands-on experience with a variety of zoo and farmyard animals.

Duration: Five weeks (Wednesdays, 2:30 – 3:30 pm)

Ages: 6-12 years

Requirements: Children should bring a water bottle and wear wellies. Snacks are not provided.

home Educator Days (new for 2025!)
Explore the zoo as a family, with the opportunity to take part in one of our themed workshops led by our education team. As well as our themed workshops there will be a range of keeper talks running on the day to enjoy as well as free train ride.
Workshop themes will differ month to month.

Cost: £11.50pp this includes entry and workshop for the children (under 2’s free of charge)
Age: workshops available for 3+ years (students will be grouped by similar key stages)
Each workshop session will last approximately 45 minutes and takes place in the wild explorer hub.Dates on tickets cannot be amended and are non-refundable.
Theme for August: Variety of life. How we group animals by similar features.
11:00 – Working at EYFS to KS1 level
12:00 – Working at KS2 Level
14:00 – Working at KS3 Level
On the day we will greet you on entry where you are able to sign up to the different level workshops. Meeting place is the Wild Explorer Hub. Please sign up for workshops between 10am-10:45am.
