Zoo Club is an after-school club for all young animal enthusiasts. Have you a child who is a budding zookeeper? This five-week programme – now overseen by our new education officer – will involve all aspects of life as a keeper. This will include topics such as how we feed our animals, how we keep them healthy, how we prepare and maintain their homes, how we work with our animals and also how we enrich their lives. There will be the chance to get up close with a range of zoo and farmyard animals. 

Each session will be age appropriate, and as the age range progresses, the complexity of the animals the children work with increases. Former Zoo Club members are welcome back – the course content will be different to previous sessions.
