Have you a child who is a zookeeper in the making? 

Zoo Club is perfect for all young animal enthusiasts!

Zoo Club is a five-week program that will involve all aspects of life as a keeper.

Each week is centred around a new keeper skill. There will be some theory-based learning, practical skills, and the chance to get up close with a range of zoo and farmyard animals. 

Zoo Club will run 4pm-5pm on Thursdays this spring term for 5 weeks:

  • 29th Feb
  • 7th March
  • 14th March
  • 21st March

We also offer a bespoke course for home-educating families these will run from 2:30pm-3:30pm on Wednesdays for 5 weeks:

  • 21st Feb
  • 28th Feb
  • 6th March
  • 13th March
  • 20th March

There will be small groups of up to ten children. 

The total cost is £90, which includes all sessions and a certificate.

Please note that snacks will not be provided, and children are asked to bring a water bottle and their wellies. 

Parents of Zoo Club children may come onto the site to wait free of charge.

 

I like it that there is different animals to learn about each week. Dougie and Paul are really enthusiastic when they talked about the animals and I like listening to them. My favourite things at zoo club have been touching the animals especially the snake and making things for them. I like it that we can stay and play at Beale Park after zoo club.

Both my grandsons are thoroughly enjoying it. M had his dream come true yesterday by holding a snake. It’s a fantastic opportunity for them.
