Do I have to book online?

Pre-booking tickets online is recommended, though not required. Paper gift vouchers can only currently be redeemed in person. Online gift voucher codes are redeemed online at checkout.

When you arrive, we can scan the barcode on your confirmation email from your phone. However, the process is often smoother with a printed ticket so this is recommended where possible.

We strongly recommend that you prebook any animal experiences to avoid disappointment, as spaces are limited. However, it is always worth asking on the day if there is any availability.

Do I need to bring proof of Carer or Disability?

We recommend bringing along any proof of disability ie. a DLA letter, or a Disabled Badge. One Carer is granted free admission, if you require more than one carer, please give us a call. We also have two Wheelchairs available on-site.

What are your opening times?

Opening hours 2024

Autumn and Winter opening: 10AM – 4PM 7 days a week

Spring and Summer opening:  10AM – 5PM 7 days a week

Please note that when coming to the park the first hour of opening can be busier – especially during weekends, holidays and during special offer periods. We reccomend that families with young children consider this and potential wait times when planning your day.


Is there parking?

Yes – there is parking on site and it is free of charge. This also includes Disabled Parking.

Can I bring my dog?

Only service dogs are allowed within the park and please also note that there are some areas where service dogs are not permitted due to proximity of the animals 

Can I bring a picnic?

Yes, we have plenty of picnic tables around the park or you can simply sit on the grass to enjoy your picnic.

What catering facilities are on site?

The Wild Kitchen is open 10am – 5pm for hot and cold drinks. 11am-4:30pm for hot and cold food.

The gift shop is open 11am- 5pm for drinks and snacks.


Can I smoke in the park?

The park is a no-smoking and no-vaping zone. There is a smoking/vaping area near the Ticket Office at the top of the car park.

Where are you located?

We are located just a couple of miles from Pangbourne along the A329. Click here for directions.

Can I access the park from the River Thames?

There is no direct access to the park from the river Thames. However, there are moorings available from which you can access the car park. please note these are 24-hour moorings and can be limited due to the precedence of the readding fishing club. 

Can I bring a scooter or a bike to the park?

No – unfortunately, scooters and bikes are not permitted on-site for the safety of all our guests. Footballs are also not permitted.

How do I purchase / renew an annual membership?

Annual passses can be purchased online via our bookings page or in person in the ticket office. Photos will need to be taken on your first visit in order to create your membership card.

How do I book online if I have annual membership?

Please book via the general admissions form here.

How do I book online using vouchers?

With paper vouchers please book via the general admissions form here and select the option for members. Please bring along your vouchers on the day, and any differences can be paid at the ticket office.

Online vouchers can be entered at the checkout.

Can I change the date of my visit if the weather is bad?

We regret that our cancellation policy does not permit the cancellation, refund or exchange of ticket(s). Your statutory rights are not affected. 


Beale Wildlife Park operates a policy of no refunds for tickets bought at admissions, booked online or by telephone. Where possible, a booking amendment shall be accommodated however the request needs to be received in writing by email to admin@bealepark.org.uk. 


We cannot refund tickets for the reason of adverse weather conditions.

Can I bring or book a wheelchair?

Wheelchairs and mobility scooters are absolutely permitted. We do have two wheelchairs available each day for our guests to borrow. These are on a first come first served basis.

Can I stay all day or does my ticket include an exit time?

We welcome you to stay as long as you like, please see our key visitor information page for our opening hours

Can I moor at Beale Park

We have several mooring spots on the River Thames, which are charged at £10 per night. To pay, you will need your boat name, registration number and length of stay. Payments can be taken in the ticket office between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Please keep your recept with you for proof of Payment.
